1. The first place to visit in Mysore is the Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace. This magnificent palace was once the residence of the Wodeyar dynasty and is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mysore. 2. After visiting the Mysore Palace head to Mysore Zoo (or Mysuru Zoo), officially known as Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, is a composite of zoological gardens and animal park located in the southern Indian city of Mysore, Karnataka.
3. After visiting the Zoo, head to the Chamundi Hills, which is located around 13 km from Mysore.
